1. What We Collect

When you use Soon.video we collect only what is necessary to deliver the service:

• Account info — email address and display name you provide at sign-up.
• Video content — the videos you record or upload to create time capsules.
• Capsule metadata — titles, occasion tags, unlock dates, and recipient emails.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To create, store, and deliver your video time capsules.
• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To send transactional emails (capsule delivery, password resets).
• To improve and maintain the service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your video content for training AI models or any purpose other than delivering it to the intended recipient.

3. Storage & Security

Your videos are stored in encrypted cloud storage powered by Supabase. Access is restricted by row-level security policies so only you (and your chosen recipient) can view your capsules. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

4. Data Retention

Your capsules and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data, including videos, will be permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services to operate Soon.video:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@soon.video.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
